How to Wire your Leviton Plug

  • Using a wire stripper, strip the device black and red wires ¾" (1.9 cm).
  • Using a screwdriver, open the plug.
  • Connect the black wire to the silver screw, the red wire to the brass screw, and tighten both screws.
  • Before closing the plug, make sure the wires are seated in the wiring channel.
  • Close the plug and tighten the screw.
